Northern America Because of the massive attacks against the former United States, almost all the countryside has been wiped out. Great ruins still remain however, like the skyscrapers of the US cities. Many of the ancient temple ruins of Meso America are still intact. Southern America South America was hit merely by the impact of all the bombs that hit the U.S.A, not being attacked itself. However, the radiation and pollution was enough to kill off most of the human population due to sicknesses and injuries. A small human colony lives in the southernmost parts, in what once was called Chile. Some of the environment remains intact. |

The Continent In the late 22nd century, most of Western Europe united into one country, partly due to the introduction of the Euro centuries before. Although many of the districts of Europe did not want to fight in this war, and it was a purely governmental decision, no area got passed over. The U.S. released toxic bombs over the entirety of Europe, killing almost all the humans, many animals, and much of the environment. The Islands Around the year 2200, Great Britain and Ireland began warring. The area was subsequently abandoned because of bombings and remained abandoned through out the Apocalyptic Era. As a result, the area managed to escape the vast destruction of the 24th century. The environment is still growing back from its small scale war, but a few humans have begun to recolonize the area. |

The Middle East This area, a place of many cultures, always conflicting, is now the desolate desert it always threatened to be. It was attacked on all sides, by all types of bombs. All thats left is the sand, ashes and bones scattered beneath it, buildings collapsed underneath it all. |

The Orient Despite its marketing success in the 21st century, the countries in the far East soon once again retired to themselves and ended contact with the outside world. Political strife was active, and they were simply dealing with their own problems. Much of Japan wiped itself out due to internal struggles, and was not hit during the warfare. The Continental countries, however, despite how much they wanted no part in the worldly struggles, were hit by Europe and most of the civilization destroyed. Russia In the past hundred years, Russia became the superpower of the world, enveloping within it such countries as Kazakhstan and the like, and becoming very much like the Soviet Union of the 20th century, but without the militaristic leaders. Its change was a peaceful one, and it harbored many fugitives from Northern Europe. Its defenses were such that it was not as badly damaged in the warfare, but they had no antidote to the toxic bombs of the U.S. As a result, many died, but the environment was not as badly destroyed. However, the humans who survived are either making their pilgrimage West to northern Europe, or southeast, to the lands once called China and Japan. |

North of the Equator For a hundred and fifty years, Europe and the Middle East were locked in a battle for Africa, whose inhabitants remained at a "third world" demographic. When the bombs came out, North Eastern Africa was completely destroyed, thanks to a couple misdirected missiles aimed towards the Middle East. The retaliation by the Middle East was to destroy Europe's hold of Africa in the west. As a result, only some areas near the Gulf of Guinea are still intact, and the area by the White Nile is still inhabited. |

South of the Equator After the war between the European islands, the Continent quickly took over the South African area. Skirmishes with Oceania started attacks, and the southern tip of the continent was blasted into the ocean. Only the famed "Heart of Darkness" was spared from the war. It remains a dangerous place, but brave humans have lived there for centuries. Beware them, for they are very protective of their land and lives. |

Oceania Because of all the assistance the US had given Oceania through the centuries, when the war broke out, Oceania sided with North America. They fought Europe by attacking South Africa, who retaliated in defense. Only a few of the smaller islands are even inhabitable, but most are deserted, and the country of Australia is a barren waste of ruins. |
